Wheel Alignments

Why a Wheel Alignment?
Wheel placement can deviate from the manufacturer specifications due to roading conditions and everyday use. Misaligned wheels prevent the tyres sitting evenly on the road, causing them to wear down faster and needing replacing quicker. Misaligned wheels also create drag, causing your engine to work harder and consume more fuel.
Our wheel alignment and balancing services improve tyre to road contact, decrease driving resistance, reduce your fuel consumption and increase the longevity and efficiency of your tyres.
What is a wheel alignment?
A wheel alignment is the adjustment of the angles of the wheels and the vehicles suspension system. Wheels need to be perpendicular to the ground, parallel to each other and match the manufacturers positioning specifications.
When should a wheel alignment be done?
Wheel Alignments should be done regularly, roughly every 10,000k’s or every six months, whichever comes first.
It is also recommended to have one done when new tyres or suspension parts have been fitted, after an accident, if you notice uneven tyre wear or if you can feel the vehicles steering pulling more to one side.
